Q: What is this site?

A: It’s a place you can share images you’ve taken with your yearbook staff. Staff photographers can’t be everywhere, so if you’ve got great photos of your school/community events or you and your friends just having fun, the staff would like to see them. The more photos they get, the better the yearbook will be for everyone!

Q: Will my photos appear in the yearbook?

A: The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. While they’ll use as many as possible, they can’t guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book.

Q: How does it work?

A: It’s a simple 3-step process:

1. Enter your school code/password and contact info (for the yearbook staff)
2. Name your gallery (collection) and describe at what event the photos were taken.
3. Upload your images and add captions to them.

Q: How do I find our school project number and password?

A: Contact your yearbook adviser or staff – they can tell you what your school’s project number and password are. (Note: Not all staffs use image sharing – your yearbook staff can tell you whether your school’s service is active or not).

Q: What kind of images can I upload?

A: Images can be in JPEG or TIF formats, RGB or grayscale (no CMYK), and up to 8MB in size. Images should be large enough for printing @ 300dpi resolution – a 1200 pixel x 1500 pixel image equates to a 4” x 5” print size.
(Note: Many cell phone photos and images for the web/Internet are too small to suitably reproduce in print.)

Q: What info should be included in captions?

A: After you upload images, you’ll have the opportunity to caption them. Your images have a better chance of being used for the yearbook if they have captions. Include the full names of each person in the photo if possible, what was happening, and any background info that will help tell the picture’s story.
